Prior to joining Brooklyn A, Vincent Caporaso worked in immigration at HIAS New York, where he provided advocacy services and referrals to social service providers on behalf of the organization’s clients. In addition, Vincent worked for several nonprofit community housing programs, providing mental health counseling, crisis management, and advocacy services to clients with severe mental health, medical and substance use challenges. Vincent earned his Master of Social Work degree from Stony Brook University where he specialized in Community, Policy, and Political Social Action. He also holds a B.S. in Communications from St. John’s University. Vincent joins Brooklyn A as our first Social Worker. His favorite place in Brooklyn is Domino Park.
