Brooklyn A serves low-income and moderate-income families and individuals in New York City. Some services are exclusively accessible based on location. Read more about income eligibility and geographic restrictions at our full list of programs and services.

Certain services may be available without income limits or less strict limits for elders, victims of crimes and their survivors, persons with disabilities, and in limited assistance clinics.

For tenants facing eviction, you can also access our hotline at 718-487-1304 between 7:00am-8:00pm. No telephone or computer access? You can visit one of our community offices. 

  • Visiting our Williamsburg, Brooklyn office at 260 Broadway, Brooklyn NY 11211 
    • On the corner of Broadway & Marcy Avenue off the Marcy Avenue stop on the J/M/Z subway lines.
  • Visiting our Bedford-Stuyvesant office at 1471 Fulton Street, Brooklyn, NY 11226 
    • Two blocks down from the Kingston – Throop Avenue stop on the C subway line.

Regular business hours for both offices are Monday – Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

In the case of an emergency, you may speak with an attorney same-day if an attorney is available.
