We can answer your questions and help you understand your rights. If we determine that you need an attorney and that we can take your case, we will provide you with high-quality representation every step of the way. The help we offer ranges from legal advice to full case representation, depending on client need.
How We Can Help
Do you qualify?
Brooklyn A serves low -moderate income families and individuals (earning up to 125% of the poverty level, $32,750 for a family of 4 in 2020, or up to 250% in limited circumstances) in New York City. Certain services are only open to Brooklyn residents.
Certain services may be available without income limits or less strict limits for elders, victims of crimes and their survivors, persons with disabilities, and in limited assistance clinics.

If we are unable to help you, you may qualify for help from a different legal services agency or benefit from self-help materials.

No telephone or computer access? You can visit one of our community offices.

- On the corner of Broadway & Marcy Avenue off the Marcy Avenue stop on the J/M/Z subway lines.
- Visiting our Bedford-Stuyvesant office at 1419 Fulton Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11226
- Two blocks down from the Kingston – Throop Avenue stop on the C subway line.
Regular business hours for both offices are Monday – Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
In the case of an emergency, you may speak with an attorney same-day if an attorney is available.
