Prior to Joining Brooklyn A, Kameal worked as a leasing agent with affordable housing and has over 14 years of experience as a Housing Advocate and Senior Housing Specialist with NYC Department of Homeless Services contracted shelters. Kameal has also worked for several years for the 41st City Council District as a Constituent Assistant aiding in fundraising, campaigning and local community events. Kameal’s strong interest for law, and compassion to empower the community has joined Brooklyn A to aid individuals facing housing crisis. Kameal’s favorite place in NY is Williamsburg.
