Prior to joining Brooklyn A, Julia DiLaura worked in non-profit development and writing roles for a range of organizations including the Innocence Project, Center for Community Change, Madison Square Boys & Girls Club, Physicians for Human Rights and the Center for Public Integrity. She received a B.A. in political science with a concentration in journalism and a minor in history from the University of Delaware. Her favorite place in NYC is Long Meadow in Prospect Park.
