If you are a homeowner that is experiencing financial hardship HAF can assist you.
The Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) is now open. If you are a homeowner that is experiencing financial hardship, HAF can assist you to avoid defaulting, foreclose on your home or displacement as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The program launched this month, and it’s important that you apply right away as funds are limited.
To learn about eligibility requirements and apply for the program visit nyhomeownerfund.org or call (844) 77-NYHAF (844-776-9423). The call center is open Monday through Saturday from 7 AM until 8 PM. You may also join us at our upcoming events (registration below and at bka.org/events) to learn how to apply to HAF as well as find other relief assistance, such as property tax benefits.
Contact our attorneys and advocates for help filling out your application and answering other questions on housing stability, homeowner scam prevention, deed theft and predatory lending.
