Brooklyn A Hosts Pro Bono Breakfast
On July 25th , Brooklyn A invited current and potential pro bono partners to a Pro Bono Breakfast at the offices of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, with whom we’ve partnered closely through an externship program , now in its 11th year! We are grateful to have started the day among new and old friends to celebrate recent successes and discuss the many ways in which our work continues to advance social, economic, and racial justice in Brooklyn and throughout NYC.
Our pro bono partnerships are key to expanding our capacity to support the New Yorkers that need our services the most. We are excited to report that since last week’s breakfast, plans for new projects and increased collaboration among Brooklyn A staff and pro bono partners have already begun to form! A big thank you to Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP for hosting and to all of the firms that attended, including:
- Akin Gump LLP
- Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP
- Debevoise & Plimpton LLP
- Freeh Sporkin & Sullivan LLP
- Jackson Lewis P.C.
