Natalene’s impetus for applying to law school was her experience serving in legal aid, and she is delighted that her work intersects with her passions and expertise and meets the needs of her local community. Natalene is honored to have the opportunity to use her skills in nonprofit tax law to sustain and empower nonprofits that are central in alleviating poverty. Prior to joining Brooklyn A, Natalene served as legal counsel at a nonprofit consultancy and on the NGOsource project at TechSoup, a charity. Natalene is a graduate of Boston College Law School. She earned a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University in political science and psychology. Her favorite places in New York are neighborhood restaurants where she often chats up owners and listens to them share stories about their lives and dreams.
