Syd is a second-year student at Brooklyn Law School with a flair for public interest lawyering. She earned her B.A. from the Evergreen State College where she studied contemporary history and political economy. Before law school, Syd served as chief of staff to the chair of the House Public Safety Committee in Washington State. Syd is passionate about immigration law and has worked for Make the Road NY.
