Prior to working for Brooklyn A, Emily worked in both the legal and social services fields, giving her insight into the different kinds of socioeconomic barriers that can plague members of a community. After graduating with her B.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2019, Emily decided to move to New York for the unique opportunity of working in a helping profession within a city rich with culture. Outside of work, Emily enjoys cooking new things and reading in the park.
