Amanda is currently a full-time extern and third-year student at Duke University School of Law. She earned her B.A. in English and political science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and prior to law school worked in the NYC public school system through AmeriCorps. She is passionate about expanding access to justice, and hopes to continue developing her legal knowledge base and skill set in order to be a more effective advocate for clients at BKA this semester. Her favorite places in the city are Prospect Park and Rockaway Beach.
