Amalya has always held a strong passion for legal and judicial advocacy. Amalya is an undergraduate senior at Sy Syms School of Business, graduating in January 2024, and has always been a strong believer in justice. As such she has always pursued opportunities for multiple forms of advocacy at university and private legal firms in multiple different fields such as matrimonial, domestic violence, mental health, and financial. Serving as a part of the Preserve Affordable Housing sector of Brooklyn A, Amalya hopes to continue her advocacy experience by ensuring that working families, individuals, older adults, and others live in stable healthy environments within their financial means without being in constant fear of having their homes ripped away from them.
