We are reaching out because we are either currently working with you or have previously worked with you or a family member. We know how important your home is to you and your loved ones. We want to alert you that we are seeing a huge increase in scammers targeting homeowners.

WHAT IS HAPPENING:

Scammers know that homeowners, particularly older adults and Black and Latino homeowners, are struggling to pay their mortgages due to the economic impact of COVID-19 and more recently dealing with damages caused by Hurricane Ida. Scammers are working double time to take advantage of this moment and steal deeds or push predatory loans.

One homeowner we recently helped was receiving ten calls a day from a company claiming it could help them get current on their mortgage. Calls like these are scams, often pretending to be government-sponsored entities, which is confusing and scary for homeowners.
