Brooklyn A’s Executive Director Elected Co-Vice President of NYLSC Board

Brooklyn A is excited to announce that our Executive Director, Jessica Rose, has been elected Co-Vice President of the New York Legal Services Coalition Board of Directors and Co-Chair of its Legislative Steering Committee. Brooklyn A was a founding member of the NYLSC and Jessica has served on its Board since for the past year.

NYLSC is an association of almost 50 civil service organizations across the state using their voices to advocate for continued and expanded funding and collaborative advocacy on issues impacting the members’ client communities and organizations. Much like Brooklyn A’s mission to provide all New Yorkers equal access to legal services to overcome systemic racism and oppression, NYLSC aims to provide high quality representation to low-income individuals and families to ensure fairness to all in the judicial system. Jessica’s Co-Vice President role on the Board will allow her a new opportunity to promote justice for everyone in our city and state.

“I am honored to serve the New York Legal Services Coalition in this new capacity. It is an amazing assemblage of our peer organizations across the state through which we are able to collectively advocate from a position of strength and unity,” said Jessica Rose, Esq., Executive Director, Brooklyn Legal Services Corporation A.
