Prior to joining the Brooklyn A team, Jim Meadows practiced for more than 35 years with various law firms, most recently as a co-founder and managing partner (and CFO) for Culhane Meadows PLLC (now “CMLaw”), which at the time of his departure was the largest national full-service women-owned (WBE) law firm in country. He has had a passion for public interest work targeted at the financial issues underlying poverty, which led him to volunteer as tax counselor through the AARP Foundation’s Tax-Aide program (IRS VITA/TCE Certification – Advanced) for the past 3 years. He holds a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and is licensed in New York, Georgia, Florida and the District of Columbia. Jim and his family moved back to New York City (Brooklyn) this past Spring, after stepping down from Culhane Meadows. His favorite place in NYC is Central Park.
