Prior to joining Brooklyn A, Marie worked as an associate at RPCK Rastegar Panchal LLP and Debevoise & Plimpton LLP where she represented impact investors, social entrepreneurs, and other enterprises in a range of corporate and transactional matters. Prior to her career in corporate law, Marie worked as a paralegal for the Federal Defenders of New York, where she supported criminal defendants who otherwise lacked resources for a legal defense. Marie brings to the Community & Economic Development Program her transactional experience and her commitment to using that experience to foster economic development centered on community empowerment. Marie holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. in English Language & Literature from Yale College. Her favorite place in NYC is Forest Park.
